Michelle started in the insurance industry back in 1994 while earning her BS at Carroll College. Following graduation she started full time and eventually was an owner of Dross Countryside Insurance in Merton, WI. In 2015 she branched off with her own agency in Fremont, WI where she has been a business owner and community leader ever since. Michelle is a supporter of many local organizations including the Webfooters Water Shows, the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fremont, the Fremont Historical Society, the Oshkosh Boat Club, and is a proud member of the Friends of Fremont. Her agency is also a supporter and sponsor of the local Weyauwega-Fremont School District in various ways.
Michelle has spent extra time and effort to be set apart from her peers by earning her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2000. The knowledge obtained with this designation supports her first priority to take a different approach to analyze and educate each individual about coverages based on their specific protection needs. “My passion is helping people”, Michelle says. “I apply that passion every day, which is why the Agency motto is Faithful, Reliable, Devoted.”
Outside of work Michelle enjoys spending time boating on the waters of Fremont and Winneconne, down to Oshkosh and various communities on Lake Winnebago and the Fox River. As a breast cancer survivor, she is passionate about volunteering, exercising, and educating others about health and fitness.
